Z32 RE4R01A Auto Transmission Park / Neutral Inhibitor Sensor Switch (Non-Turbo NA AT)

This electronic switch sits on the side JATCO 4 Speed Automatic Transmission & ensures the gearbox is in Park or Neutral before allowing the starter to crank.

When they fatigue &/or fail, the vehicle can exhibit non cranking symptoms.

This unit is specific to the Z32 platform auto trans, but it may suit other Nissans (skyline, patrols – *this is unconfirmed)
